The Presses universitaires de la Méditerranée (PULM) is a department of the University of Montpellier Paul-Valéry, attached to the research and doctoral studies department. Their mission is to promote scientific knowledge and research in the field of arts, literature, languages and social sciences. They ensure the entire production of the book as well as the dissemination and distribution of their works. Created in 1983, the publications department of the University Paul-Valéry Montpellier 3 became the Presses universitaires de la Méditerranée in 2007, directed by Dominique Triaire until 2019. The management of the PULM is assisted by a management committee, an editorial committee and reading committees for each collection that ensure the review of projects and the study of manuscripts; this evaluation allows the press to propose publications of a high scientific level. Thanks to its competence and experience, the PULM’s technical and administrative team closely accompanies authors in the publication process so as to produce a quality edition and publications carried out with the utmost care. Attentive to the evolution of scientific publishing, the PULM have committed themselves to open science through the publication of digital books, the digitization of old works and the online publication of journal issues on the OpenEdition portal, as well as by developing a HAL collection allowing free access to the works after three years of publication. Today, dear reader, we invite you to discover on our website our twenty collections of books as well as the nine journals that we publish, and to follow the news of the PULM by subscribing to the Newsletter.
